Dr. Sinclair, from VITAS Healthcare, is holding a talk at
the Del Mar Community Building to discuss how to manage end-of-life by living in the moment. He will focus on hospice and the impact of mindfulness. In particular, he will touch on medicare hospice benefit details, common hospice myths/misconceptions and how to find the right provider.

Dr. Sinclair joined VITAS in 1997 as a Team Physician and has served in his current capacity since 1998. He is a partner with California Cancer Associates for Research and Excellence. In addition to his work with VITAS, he has a private practice in hematology and medical oncology.  Earlier in his career, he served as Chairman of Medicine and Chief of Staff at Scripps Memorial Hospital Encinitas in San Diego.
