Coastal Cities Jazz Band presents... A Tribute to The  Count Basie Orchestra  & His Music  January 25, 2015 2pm Carlsbad Community Church The Coastal Cities Jazz Band is proud to perform charts from the Count Basie Orchestra library-tunes like "April in Paris," "Every Day I Have the Blues," "88 Basie Street," and Basie's theme song "One O'Clock Jump." These tunes are now in the Grammy Hall of Fame. Over the years the Count Basie Orchestra recorded many other popular tunes, such as George Gershwin's "Strike Up the Band," "Stardust," and "Sweet Georgia Brown," all of which will be performed at this concert.
