NOTICE OF FRAUDULENT RENEWAL NOTICES

Please be aware that companies known for sending suspect "renewal notices" across the nation purporting to represent magazines and newspapers have begun targeting U-T readers.

The U-T has no business relationship of any sort with notices sent under the name Associated Publishers Network of Henderson, Nevada; Magazine Payment Services of White City, Oregon; or Global Publishing. Subscribers should not send any payments to the companies or addresses listed on such notices.

The Better Business Bureau in Nevada has given Associated Publishers Network an F rating, citing 267 complaints lodged against the company. The company has previously sent notices in the name of The New York Times, The Nation and The Wall Street Journal.

An actual U-T subscription invoice will show the U-T San Diego logo, and will include your account number. It will only ask readers to make payments to the U-T, not to any third parties.

If you would like to verify status of your U-T subscription, or are uncertain whether your subscription invoice is legitimate you may access your account  via our Website or email Customer Service here.
