CONNECTING COMMUNITY FAIR

Our first annual Connecting Community Fair will be held by the Del Mar Library and Del Mar Community Connections (DMCC) on May 15 to showcase the wealth of resources and services that both organizations offer to residents.

The event begins at 10 a.m. at the Library with a talk by Dr. Shanti Mayberry, HHP, Ph.D., of Cedros Natural Health Center, followed by information tables where attendees can learn about services and programs offered by the Library and DMCC.

Musical entertainment will be provided at 10:45 a.m. by the Del Mar Community Connections "Singing Together Group" led by Linda Chisari. Refreshments will be provided.

Polly Cipparrone, recently-arrived Del Mar Librarian, noted that May is national "Older Americans Month" and it seemed a perfect opportunity to introduce, showcase and augment some of the two organizations' numerous community service programs.
