Autumn is here and tea is perfect for the season. Napastak offers a variety of tea collections such as Kusmi, Tea Forté, Terr d'oc, and more. Chef Napastäk is on a journey to find the most exquisite teas from fine tea-growing regions and bring them back to tea lovers here in the Napa Valley. The store will feature a much broader line of unique teas, which will be unquestionably the finest, most aromatic, most sought-after teas in the world.
A great cocktail is transcendent, and a timeless testament to its creator. The classic Manhattan is a perfect blend of spirits, sweet vermouth and bitters. You might be wondering why Napa Valley Distillery chose to alter this classic cocktail to include brandy instead of bourbon or rye. They have a few good reasons. First, many pre-prohibition cocktails that now feature rye or bourbon once featured brandy. Secondly, brandy is one of their favorite things in the whole, wide world. Lastly, they love to innovate, improve and try new things. They think you'll love it as much as they do. Don't forget the cherry!
OCTOBER ENCHILADA SPECIAL C CASA enchilada plate special

When you don't feel like cooking and you want to treat yourself, this is an ideal way to do just that, and the price is right!

PUMPKIN TEA BREAD  Cate & Co. pumpkin tea bread
The leaves are changing color, the nights are getting cooler and pumpkins are appearing at the Farmers' Market...that can only mean one thing -- pumpkin tea bread is back at Cate & Co. Laced with spices, this golden-hued tea bread with maple icing is topped with pumpkin seeds and makes a delicious accompaniment to coffee or tea in the morning. Add a dollop of whipped cream with candied ginger for a decadent dessert. Packaged for gifting, the tea bread also make the ideal hostess gift.
In Wine Country, the origin of the grape has a good deal to do with the style and flavor of the wine produced. It's not much different when it comes to chocolate. Chocolate pod harvesting and the creation of chocolate is also greatly effected by the climate and soil of the country/region of origin. Anette's Chocolates had now made four single origin bars -- the perfect size to nibble on or try a chocolate tasting.
