NOT ALL GRANOLA CREATED EQUAL Cate & Co. granola
Cate & Co.'s granola is chunky and crunchy, and loaded with fruit and nuts. Made in small batches with dried bing cherries, blueberries, almonds, pecans, coconut flakes, and gluten-free oats, it is a fantastic quick, nutritious breakfast with milk or almond milk in the morning, and also a perfect accompaniment to a cheese plate, or as a topping for yogurt and ice cream. Pack some in snack bags for school lunchboxes for a crunchy afternoon treat. We love the versatility of a bag of Cate & Co. granola and know you will too.
TOKAJ NOBILIS SUSUGOOCWM-Susogo
Oxbow Cheese & Wine Merchant is always on the hunt for interesting, unusual wines, and recently found a few cases of 2013 Tokaj Nobilis "Susugó" Furmint, Tokaj-Hegyalja, Hungary. If this fine white wine is representative of Hungary's future, then it is exciting to contemplate. The winemaker, Sarolta Bárdos, is a young woman and third generation in the business. Historically, the wines of Tokaj have been mostly sweet, age-worthy for decades, and with an international reputation. Furmint, however, lends itself well to drier styles. This one has the richness of a medium-bodied Chardonnay, but a spectrum of flavors more reminiscent of rich Loire Valley Chenin Blanc -- both fresh and bruised yellow apple, honey and quince, with a very long finish. Only three cases available, $22/bottle.
STUMPTOWN COLD-BREWED COFFEEModel Bakery cold-pressed coffee

Stumptown starts with the highest quality coffee, cold brewed without heat for over 12 hours with a double filtration process to procure the end result: a complex, smooth and full-bodied brew with low-acid and a chocolate finish. Stop by The Model Bakery and grab a cup and start your mornings right!
MEAT PIE SPECIAL Five Dot meat pie
With school back in session, the summer heat slowly dropping, and the foggy mornings reminding us that fall is just around the corner, Five Dot Ranch cannot help but be excited for the new season, which means a new menu! It's still in the works, but Five Dot Ranch Cookhouse is previewing its meat pie special this week only. What better way to welcome the new season than indulging in a warm and flaky smoked ribeye cap meat pie with cilantro-cabbage salad and avocado salsa verde?
MANILA CLAMS AND LAMB MERGUEZHog Island clams
Celebrate the bounty of the sea and land with a subtly spicy, aromatic bowl of tender, sweet Manila clams served with earthy lamb Merguez, Hog Island garden greens, harissa and preserved Meyer lemon at Hog Island Oyster Bar. Satisfying, yet surprisingly light, it's perfect as an end-of-summer dinner or late afternoon lunch, and pairs beautifully with a cold, crisp glass (or two) of dry rosé. Bon Appetit!
ENCHILADA PLATE SPECIAL    September enchilada special
If the thought of cooking dinner every night during the week sounds exhausting, than C CASA has just the plate for you!
