Not for Profit Spotlight
Thinking of You Services is a not for profit 5013 organization which was started in 2004, and has been filling a void that was identified by military personnel, veterans, and their families. One major area of their outreach is sending cards and care packages free of charge to service men and women overseas. Send them any APO or FPO addresses of which you are aware and a box will be on its way.
They also donate items to the Veterans Administration Hospital on an ongoing basis thereby enabling veterans to see that they are not forgotten.
Their outreach to the community has been enhanced by their membership in Chamber South. The Not for Profit Committee has helped them in networking and identification of funding and other resources and has enabled them to gain visibility.
Every year they hold an annual picnic to collect care package items to send a touch of home to the troops and show them that we care. Please contact Freddie at (786)252-2798 or by email at [email protected] for more information. They look forward to hearing from you.
