(April 11, 2016) - Jayco is recalling certain model year 2016 White Hawk travel trailers, model 25BHS, manufactured on March 3. The affected trailers were incorrectly built on axles rated for 3,000 pounds, when they should have been built with axles that have a capacity of 3,500 pounds.

Shipment growth continues in 2016
(April 11, 2016) - The recreation vehicle industry's shipments will reach 381,100 units in 2016, a 2 percent increase above the 2015 total of 374,246, according to a new forecast from the Recreation Vehicle Industry Association prepared by RV Industry analyst Richard Curtin and released at RVIA's annual meeting held recently in Tucson, Ariz.

(April 11, 2016) - Recreation Plantation is looking at a major expansion at its RV park at County Road 466 and Rolling Acres Road. The owner of the RV park has indicated that he believes the impact on nearby traffic will be minimal.

(April 11, 2016) - Wekiva Falls is actually a sulfur spring that is capped, channeling the water up through a conduit that "falls" into a manicured lagoon for swimming. It even has a sandy beach on one end, and the water runs out the lagoon on a sandy-bottomed stream to the nearby Wekiva River.

(April 11, 2016) - Tim Chamberlin with Alberta parks said reservations are up for provincial park campsites. Chamberlin said repairs after the 2013 flood are close to 100 percent done, with two more sites in the south due to reopen this summer.

25th Central Jersey RV Show & Food Drive April 22-24

(April 11, 2016) - The 25th Annual Central Jersey RV Show once again expects to draw a record crowd in addition to collecting a record amount of food donations, a release from the show stated. The dates for this year's event are April 22 - 24. Hours are 10 a.m. - 7 p.m., on Friday and Saturday, 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. on Sunday.

(April 11, 2016) - Sheriff's officials said California Fish and Wildlife wardens found the man's body Sunday at a campsite near Kern Canyon Road and Borel Road. Sheriff's officials said there were signs of trauma on the body, but didn't specify where.
