(Sept. 24, 2015) - Travel trailer shipments to dealers jumped 11.7 percent in August, but fifth wheel shipments dropped 12.7 percent. Class C motorhomes posted a 2.9 percent increase, but Class A motorhomes clocked in with a 7.7% decline. Total shipments in August were 1.7 percent below 2014's pace.

Thor Motor Coach issues two recalls
(Sept. 23, 2015) - The company is recalling 290 model year 2016 Axis and Vegas RVs manufactured between March 26 and July 6 to fix a windshield defroster, as well as 98 model year 2014 and 2015 Tuscany XTE motorhomes manufactured between March 28, 2013, to Feb. 27 to fix a convertible table top insert.
(Sept. 23, 2015) - Forest River is recalling certain model year 2013 to 2014 Starcraft All Star XL, 2013 Starcraft All Star, and XLT transit buses manufactured between Oct. 17, 2012, to Nov. 20, 2012 to correct an improperly routed engine grid heater power feed cable which can result in the cable contacting the metal edge on the cab.

Missing out on millions as Maryborough bypassed by RVs
(Sept. 23, 2015) - Maryborough is missing out on the RV market and it's potentially costing the city tens of millions of dollars a year, according to the city's state member Bruce Saunders. Saunders said he was keen to push to make Maryborough an RV-friendly because at the moment it was being bypassed on the Bruce Hwy in favour of Gympie and Bundaberg.
