Ugandan Rev. to discuss LGBT rights July 18
In a country where being gay is illegal, Uganda minister Mark Kiyimba has been threatened numerous times for his stand against an anti-homosexuality bill that could punish those perceived as homosexual with life imprisonment -- or even death -- if passed by the Ugandan parliament. Kiyimba will be in Iowa City July 18 to discuss the struggle for LGBT rights in his country. Learn more.
