Greetings from the Producer and General Manager, Doug Floyd
Hello newsletter readers!
Doug Floyd Thank you for reading our bi-weekly news, for liking us on Facebook and for tweeting and re-tweeting about our exciting shows. As a friend of the theatre, you inspire us to present another season of diverse performances and to continue engaging the U of T and Toronto communities both on stage and off.

In the coming weeks we will begin auditions for our first show of the season, Tideline directed by Toronto Theatre pioneer, Ken Gass. Ken's influence on live performance in Canada is immeasurable and I am thrilled to have him join us for the first show in our season.

Keep reading below for details on how you can apply to audition and be sure to contact our box office (details to the left) to book your season subscription and guarantee yourself the best seats in the house.

Produced in association with Canadian Rep Theatre and ENSEMBLE: Canadian Youth Theatre/Théâtre Jeunesse Canadien

When you've grown up an ocean away from your birthplace, what do you ultimately call home? Winner of the Governor General's Award and France's Prix Molière, Wajdi Mouawad's Tideline is a wildly theatrical play about the displacement of self. After the sudden, unexpected death of a father he hardly knew, Wilfrid is forced to confront a host of family secrets, including the foundation of his own existence. A dream-like journey through a war-torn landscape inhabited by some equally lost and peculiar survivors, Tideline is a darkly humorous fable for our times.
