Taking us Into the Woods
The creative minds behind our musical
Jeremy HuttonJeremy Hutton, Director
Hart House Theatre audiences are well familiar with Jeremy's work as he has directed over 10 productions with us in recent years. These include, but are certainly not limited to The Tempest, Romeo and Juliet, The Night of the Iguana, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels and Macbeth. Jeremy's talents extend to sound design and stage combat; he is also the resident fight director for the Classical Theatre Project and Hart House Theatre. Jeremy is the founding Artistic Director of the Toronto Youth Theatre.

Giustin MacLean Giustin MacLean, Musical Director
Giustin is a graduate of the University of Toronto and returns to Hart House Theatre after working on our hit productions of The Wedding Singer and Jesus Christ Superstar. Giustin was recently a guest artist at the Richmond Hill Centre for the Performing Arts where he worked on productions of Bye Bye Birdie, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Beauty and the Beast, Jr. and Into The Woods, Jr.

Joe Pagnan Joe Pagnan, Set Designer
Joe's magical design of our 2014 production of The Tempest was lauded for its imagination, creativity and haunting beauty. Who better, to take on the creation of the mystical woods that entrap and entice the characters in this musical? Joe, who has studied with Ryerson University, Universität Weimar and the Young Centre for the Performing Arts, is a member of the Associate Designers of Canada. Examples of his work can be found on his website here >>

Simon Rossiter Simon Rossiter, Lighting Design
Simon is an award-winning lighting designer who has collaborated on more then two hundred productions since 2003 with a variety of companies throughout Canada, including more than one hundred and fifty original designs. Simon has received five Dora Mavor Moore award nominations for Outstanding Lighting Design, receiving the award in 2014 and 2015, and  he has twice been nominated for the Ontario Arts Council's prestigious Pauline McGibbon award in design. Simon is a member of the Associated Designers of Canada and returns to Hart House Theatre after designing our 2012 production of Macbeth and the 2013 original musical, Robin Hood.
