We the Family closes after a successful run
We were honoured to present this world premiere alongside George F. Walker, our country's most prolific playwright. Now that We the Family is clearing out of the theatre to make room for Hamlet, we bid the Kaplans and their capers Shalom!

Meet the creative team who is building Hamlet

Paolo Santalucia Paolo Santalucia, Director

Paolo returns to Hart House Theatre after playing Stephano in The Tempest and Romeo in Romeo and Juliet. Paolo has performed with several professional companies across Ontario including Soulpepper, Driftwood Theatre, Tarragon Theatre and Young People's Theatre. He has received two Dora Awards for Outstanding Ensemble for Of Human Bondage and Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead. Paolo is a founding member of The Howland Company.

Nancy Perrin Nancy Perrin, Set and Costume Designer

Nancy is a Set and Costume Designer, who has recently completed her second season at the Stratford Festival. She is pleased that this production has become her debut opportunity to work with Hart House. She graduated with a BFA in Theatre Production and Design from the National Theatre School where she graduated from the Set and Costume Design program in 2010.

Andre du Toit Andre du Toit, Lighting Designer

Andre returns to Hart House Theatre after designing for Goodnight Desdemona, Good Morning Juliet; Romeo and Juliet and Julius CaesarAndre has worked with several professional companies across Ontario including Canadian Rep, Theatre Smith-Gilmour, Tarragon Theatre and Factory Theatre. Andre is a graduate of the University College Drama Program and he is the recipient of two Dora Mavor Moore Awards for Outstanding Lighting Design.

Downton Abbey: An Insider's Retrospective with Jessica Fellowes
Downton Retrospective Jessica Fellowes is a renown UK author and public speaker who tours extensively on the subject of Downton Abbey, the show created by her uncle, Julian. She now has three official Downton books from her extensive research with her all insider access to cast and film sets. Jessica is a wealth of Downton Abbey knowledge. Jessica's retrospective show has been a major hit and has garnered rave reviews. Quirks and Quarks Help the CBC's Quirks & Quarks celebrate their 40th Anniversary on October 15, 2015 at 7:30 pm. Here is an invitation from their site: We are recording our 40th anniversary special and we want you to be part of the audience. No reservations or tickets are required - it's first come, first seated. We'll be looking back at some of the science and environmental issues that the program first explored 40 years ago, and examining how they have changed and evolved in the 4 decades since then.

This Halloween, Hart House of Horrors is more macabre than ever, and will be showing you things that can't be unseen.
