PRESHOW ARTIST CHAT THIS SATURDAY AT 1PM!
Join Hart House Theatre's resident dramaturg Susan Bond this Saturday (January 26th) for the Preshow Artist Chat before the matinee performance of Robin Hood! Susan will be interviewing Hart House Theatre's Artistic Director, and Robin Hood co-creator, Jeremy Hutton and the Assistant Director for Robin Hood Carly Chamberlain.
 
The chat kicks off at 1PM in the Hart House Theatre lobby. The talk will focus on the genesis of Robin Hood: The Legendary Musical Comedy and what goes into creating a musical. Light refreshments will be provided.

Drama Festival  

St. Michael's College is currently looking for U of T students to participate in their submissions to the 2013 Drama Festival at Hart House Theatre. For more information please contact arts@smcsu.com.

 

Running February 13-16, 2013, the adjudicated festival features a plethora of original one-act plays that will be competing for 5 highly coveted awards. The U of T Drama Festival has featured numerous performers who have gone on to become stars of stage and screen: Ted Follows, David Gardner, Don Harron, Arthur Hiller, William Hutt, & Donald Sutherland, to name a few.

FESTIVAL OF DANCE 2013

FoD 2012     

Hart House Theatre proudly hosts Canada's largest university dance festival, the U of T Festival of Dance (FOD) - March 22 and 23, 2013.

 

A celebration of the diversity and prosperity of the U of T dance community, past events have included over 60 different dance pieces, well over 200 performers and an impressive variety of dance forms including: Jazz, Ballet, Ballroom, Hip Hop, Musical Theatre, Irish, Latin and Egyptian Belly Dancing. With such an abundance of dance groups associated with U of T, participation in the festival is a great opportunity for dance groups to promote their own work and ventures, and interact with other dancers and forge collaborations.

 

The festival is open to any students and/or groups that are affiliated with the U of T community.
