Ladies, gather a group of friends and come hear Abingdon author, Melissa Spoelstra, teaching from her new women's Bible study--hot off the press in August 2014--titled "Jeremiah: Daring to Hope in an Unstable World."

The conference is October 11, 9:30am to 3:00pm at First United Methodist Church of Allen.  This one-day conference will include worship, bible teaching, break-out sessions, and girlfriend time. Enjoy a catered lunch from Panera Bread and lots of free give-aways from Abingdon Press.

ABOUT THE STUDY

When we look around at today's world, hope usually isn't the first word that comes to mind. In many ways, we live in an unstable world where marriages fail, bank accounts run low, friendships end, and the everyday demands of a fast-paced life get us down.

In the Book of Jeremiah, we find God calling out to His people with a message of hope-a message that intentional living is possible even in an unstable world.

But how do we do this? Where do we start?

"Jeremiah: Daring to Hope in an Unstable World" offers women hope for living in an uncertain world by learning to navigate the challenges and circumstances of their lives. Combining rich study of the Book of Jeremiah with practical life application that resonates with the realities and experiences of today's women, this study inspires all women to dare to hope, remembering that God is rich in mercy and love and has good plans for us.

By humility and the fear of the LORD are riches and honor and life.  Proverbs 22:4

Honor the LORD with your substance and with the firstfruits of your increase. So shall your barns be filled with plenty and your presses shall burst out with new wine.
