Attending worship is the foundation that we all need to grow in a relationship with Christ. Along with the Sunday school class, FUMC Allen offers Bible study, service opportunities, recreation, and support groups that allow us to both study and serve, fulfilling the discipleship goal of Worship Plus Two.

As our children return to their classes each fall, FUMC Allen also offers several course offerings to help us make a commitment to our discipleship and spiritual journey. We offer these programs through Faith Academy, FUMC Allen's discipleship education and small group ministry curriculum. The name says it all.

We are working to help everyone grow in their faith through intentional and ongoing small group study. Throughout the year, we offer many different studies and learning opportunities. You can pick up brochures of course listings at the church this Sunday, review class listings online, and register online or during the open registration from August 17 through August 31.

This month, make a commitment to regular Bible study. Many classes begin the week of September 7 so don't delay.

If you have any questions, contact Susan Hale.

During worship on Sunday, August 24, we'll offer BACK TO SCHOOL BLESSINGS, a special time of prayer for our students, teachers, and school employees returning to school this month.

Our students are invited to bring their back packs with them to worship to receive a special gift.
