It's the story of Tevye, the loquacious father of five daughters, who fights to maintain his family and their traditions while outside influences encroach upon their lives.
He must cope both with his strong-willed daughters-as each one's choice of husband
moves further from tradition-and with the edict of a tyrannical and unjust Tsar.

The running time for Fiddler on the Roof is approximately 2 hours and 45 minutes including one 20-minute intermission.

TODAY, we commission 40 youth and 10 adult chaperones who depart on Friday for MOUNTAIN T.O.P. in Tennessee. You can participate in this journey by providing words of encouragement via a short note (or two) delivered TODAY to the "Charlie Brown" mailbox located just inside the youth wing. Vacation Bible School

Early registration for SHINE VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL ends TUESDAY. VBS is August 4-8, from 9:00am-12:30pm, for children entering pre-K by 9/1/2014 through grade 6. After July 15, the $20 registration fee per child increase to $25.

Soccer League
Register now for our UPWARD indoor soccer league for kids 4 years old through grade 6. Teams practice once per week beginning September 22 and play six Saturday games beginning October 4 Registration closes on September 11. Contact Greg Schell, GregS@fumcallen.org.

Children's Creative Playday

Playday preschool is now enrolling for the 2014-2015 school year with openings still available in the 18 month and 4 year old programs. The office is open 9:00am-1:00pm during the summer. Contact Maureen Bowman, 972.396.7575, to schedule an appointment.
