Volunteers Needed

Sturgis Library is seeking volunteers for two important projects:

help We need several people to help us with our historic deeds database.  Volunteers read through the old deeds and record keywords which will then be transcribed by staff into the database.  Old deeds can be tricky to read, but if you have an interest in Cape Cod history and an eye for detail, this may be the perfect job for you.  We will provide all the training you need.

We are also seeking a volunteer or two to help us with ebay listingsEbay sales help us fund important library programs and services.  We recently received a large donation of books that will be sold online, and volunteers will be creating the ebay listings for us.  You must be comfortable with computers, and a familiarity with ebay is helpful.

If you are interested in either of these positions, please contact Library Director Lucy Loomis at 508-362-8448 or sturgislibrary@comcast.net.
