As you may have read in our December appeal letter, Zachary and Owen Myers donated $15 in one-dollar bills to Sturgis Library earlier this fall along with the note of appreciation shown above. According to their Mom Katie, given a choice of places to "give back to," they chose the libraries that they had enjoyed while visiting relatives and friends on the Cape this summer.

We are nearing the end of our fiscal year, and we still have a sizable amount to raise to cover our annual operating costs. As the fiscal year winds down, we hope that you will consider making a donation to Sturgis Library. We must raise 60% of our annual operating budget each year from donations, grants, and other non-municipal sources. Your annual support guarantees that we are able to provide quality library services to the community.

Every donation we receive, whether large or small, is meaningful to us. Every gift made to Sturgis Library helps to support the daily operations and maintenance of the Library, as well as helping to provide the kinds of programs and services that Zachary, Owen and their family appreciate.
