What is Your Vision for the Future?

The Government of Alberta is asking Albertans to think big and help create long-term policies and plans to guide land-use, municipal government and transportation. This is your opportunity to have a say in how Alberta is developed and managed in three key areas:

South Saskatchewan Regional Plan
The Government of Alberta has extended the deadline for public comments on the SSRP until February 28th. Read more and access the workbook

Transportation Strategy
The Strategy will focus on multiple travel options, connections and ways to move people and products, and provide a vision for Alberta's transportation system over the next 50 years.  It will also provide an overarching direction to help guide government decisions on transportation investments, policies and programs.  Visit this link for details.

Municipal Government Act
The Municipal Government Act (MGA) is the law under which all Alberta municipalities are empowered to shape their communities. Learn about the upcoming review of the MGA and give your input on how to build better communities while protecting the environment.
