We recognize that counseling clients who are facing an unplanned pregnancy can present a unique challenge. We would like to offer the support you need to make this process easier. OA&FS offers free, interactive trainings for groups of any size, at any location in Oregon or Washington. Topics include:

• How to present pregnancy options.
• What can my clients expect when I refer them to OA&FS?
• Open adoption as an alternative to state adoption.
• New and best practices in open adoption.
• How does open adoption work?

At OA&FS, we offer free, unbiased, all-options pregnancy counseling to pregnant women and their families. Our counselors empower clients with information and resources as they thoroughly explore their options in a supportive and compassionate environment. 

Those that choose to plan an open adoption select from our diverse pool of pre-screened families, all of whom are committed to building an ongoing open adoption relationship with them. We provide lifelong services, including relationship guidance and support. Since 1985, we've completed over 1,300 open adoptions and have become the experts on open adoption in the Northwest.

For social service professionals, we conduct free on-site trainings on pro-choice pregnancy options counseling and current open adoption practices. These can be as long or short as your schedule allows and are highly interactive. You'll leave with action steps and a renewed enthusiasm for your work.  Best of all, you'll feel better equipped to respond to your clients' needs.
