Human trafficking has become one of the world's most lucrative and despicable criminal enterprises, and the San Francisco Bay Area is a known hotspot.

To better understand the nature and scope of the problem in our region, Silicon Valley Community Foundation and Juniper Networks Foundation Fund partnered to commission a study of human trafficking in the two-county region.

Join us on Tuesday, Oct. 13, to hear more about our research findings and ways you can help. A panel discussion moderated by Bradley Myles, CEO of Polaris Project, will focus on issues regarding modern-day slavery, such as direct victim services, community response efforts, policy and advocacy, law enforcement and the legal landscape.

To reserve your seat, please email rsvpdonorevents@siliconvalleycf.org or call Linda Nguyen at 650.450.5472. Please RSVP by Oct. 5, 2015.
