May Is the Month For Connelly P.A.T.S. - Parents Appreciate Teachers and Staff
Each year, as our daughters mature and become charming, poised, and intelligent young women, we take the time to applaud those who are there to educate and nurture them spiritually and emotionally. This time has arrived!
As parents of young Connelly women, let's show our appreciation with generous P.A.T.S. for our faculty and staff.
All financial gifts donated will comprise the 2015-2016 P.A.T.S. Fund. This fund allows teachers and staff the opportunity to enrich their professional skills by providing the financial means to attend workshops, seminars or classes or to purchase educational enriching tools for the classroom. No matter how you look at it, our girls are the winners.
P.A.T.S. gifts may be given in honor of a special teacher or staff member. You say there are several you admire? Why not give recognition to each one?
How to give:
♦ Complete one or more of the forms provided on the form linked below and on the back.
♦ Attach your gift of appreciation - a minimum of $5 per honored person, please.
- Make checks payable to Cornelia Connelly School
♦ Return this form and your check to the school in a sealed envelope marked P.A.T.S. The deadline is May 1st.
Questions? Please call Aykesha Walker at (714) 776-1717, ext. 248.

Kudos Connelly Students!
 |
|
We receive many kind words and letters from the venues we volunteer at for All-School Service Day. This is just one that we received, but it really represents all the students at all of the venues.
"I just wanted to thank you for coordinating the visit of Connelly students here at John Marshall Elementary.
WOW! They were incredible! They listened to many of my students read, and asked the most intelligent, thoughtful comprehension questions afterward. They helped the kids organize their thoughts into great written answers also. My students enjoyed their attention tremendously, and had a great time with them.

Connelly students had fun playing tetherball with the elementary students
|
I want to compliment their maturity, poise, and enthusiasm. They are clearly the cream of the crop, so any time they would like to come and help out (service hours??), please send them here to my classroom. They truly did a great community service here yesterday."

Rosary Wednesdays & Faith Fridays
|
We meet every Friday at 7:50 a.m. to share our faith.
|
|
We meet every Wednesday at 7:45 a.m. to say the Rosary.
|
Our Rosaries on Wednesday mornings and faith sharing on Faith Fridays are going extremely well this year so far! We LOVE having parents pray with us so if you are dropping off your student in the morning, feel free to pop in to pray at either or BOTH ministries.
For the Rosary, it is every Wednesday at 7:45 a.m. in the Chapel (next door to Room 6). Rosaries and rosary guides are always provided if you do not have your own. Faith Fridays is every Friday in the Chapel at 7:50 a.m. On Fridays, we do short faith sharings on the upcoming Sunday Gospel, share and listen to each other on how it applies to our daily lives. It is really beautiful witnessing students, parents and Faculty share together in a very comfortable, relaxed setting. And who can resist the tasty donuts afterwards!? It is a great way to start the day and weekend. The entire Connelly Community is invited to both ministries Wednesdays and Fridays. See Mrs. Townsend or a God Squad Member near you for any questions. See you there. Mother Connelly! Pray for us....

The mobile app has many great Connelly website sections available at your fingertips:

However, please keep in mind that the mobile app is still in the process of being designed, so there are still areas, including current news/events that are only available by going to our full website (www.connellyhs.org/).
