 Many in the Immaculata community ended the month of September by attending events surrounding the visit by Pope Francis to Philadelphia. Thank you to all who shared their photos with us. Visit the Immaculata University Alumni Facebook page for pictures as we continue to receive, and post, them!
For those who did not get into the city, Immaculata hosted its own Festival of Families right on campus. Immaculata's Chaplain, Father Samuel Verruni, conducted a Vigil Mass and a Blessing of Families for those in attendance. You can see photos from the event, here.

| David Bloom, Managing Director of M&T/Wilmington Trust; Jonathan Kinsley, President & COO, Kinsley Construction; Phil Revel, District Manager for ARAMARK; and Tracy Rohrbaugh, Principal, Director of Interior Design for Crabtree, Rohrbaugh and Associates, were pleased to present a check in the amount of $73,000 to Sister R. Patricia Fadden, IHM, President and Caitlin Osborn, Class of 2017, who was representing all the students from the school of Undergraduate studies. |
Thank you to all who participated in the 40th Annual Immaculata University Golf Invitational on September 29. In spite of some rain, it was a great day on the links! The Invitational raised $73,000 for student scholarships.

 Duffy's Cut Receives NEH Grant
The Immaculata University sponsored project, Duffy's Cut: Immigration, Industrialization, and Illness in Nineteenth Century America, is among more than 200 humanities projects receiving grants totaling $36.6 million from the National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH). Immaculata University Professor of History William Watson, Ph.D., will serve as the project director. Read More
