Welcome to the Class of 2019
Immaculata University recently welcomed the class of 2019 and their families for New Student Orientation (NSO). NSO is a required program for all new students enrolling in the College of Undergraduate Studies. It provides a time for new students and their families to learn more about Immaculata and its resources, get to know classmates and other members of the Immaculata community, and meet with an advisor and register for courses. IU to Host International Music and Medicine Conference
Immaculata's Department of Music Therapy will be cohosting the Interdisciplinary Society for Quantitative Research in Music and Medicine's 3rd biennial conference from July 24-26. The three-day event, Music Meets Medicine, features academic sessions, various concerts, research posters and a keynote address by Dr. Arthur Harvey, internationally renowned authority on research in Neuromusicology. Grammy award-winning pianist and Immaculata alumna Angela Falco '96 M.A. is scheduled to perform as part of the live concert schedule. Learn More
Congratulations, Dr. Stafford!
John D. Stafford, Ed.D., of Paoli, PA, has been named Immaculata University's vice president for Student Development and Engagement. He will also continue his role as Dean of Students at Immaculata, which he has held since 2006. In his new position as Vice President, Dr. Stafford will oversee the departments of athletics, campus safety, residence life and housing, student activities and leadership, and the student wellness center. Welcome, New Choral Director!
The Music Department of Immaculata University is pleased to announce that West Chester, PA, resident Jonathan Kreamer joins IU as the new director of Choral Activities beginning August 2015. His duties will include directing the large and small choral ensembles, which are open to all Immaculata students. Learn More

With summer in full swing, our fall athletes are starting to "warm up" for their competitive season. The Women's Volleyball, Men's Soccer and Women's Soccer teams have released their fall schedules, which can be found on the Athletics website: www.GoMightyMacs.com.
In the meantime, the staff and faculty of IU are keeping busy on the field this summer, too! Members of the IU community have been invited to participate in a summer Softball league, with games taking place on Tuesday evenings.
