Students Receive Awards from Pan American Association of Philadelphia

Immaculata University is pleased to announce that the Pan American Association of Philadelphia has bestowed awards on two Immaculata students. Congratulations to Marisol Alvarez '16 of West Chester, PA and Dennis Alvarez '15 of Swarthmore, PA. The Pan American Association is a non-profit organization that represents Latino business in the Philadelphia area. Read More  

 

 

IU Fashion Shows Help Local Community

Congratulations to students in Immaculata University's Fashion Show Production class who organized four successful fashion shows around the region - each featured an apparel partner and benefited a charitable organization.  The four fashion shows netted over $5,000 for local charities. IU Professor Receives Teaching Excellence Award

Immaculata alumna and assistant professor of Economics and Finance, Elizabeth Faunce '90, Ph.D., CFP has been named a regional recipient of the 2015 Teaching Excellence Award (for baccalaureate/graduate institutions) from the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs. IU to Host International Music and Medicine Conference

Immaculata's Department of Music Therapy will be cohosting the Interdisciplinary Society for Quantitative Research in Music and Medicine's 3rd biennial conference from July 24-26. The three-day event, Music Meets Medicine, features academic sessions, various concerts, research posters and a keynote address by Dr. Arthur Harvey, internationally renowned authority on research in Neuromusicology. Grammy award-winning pianist and Immaculata alumna Angela Falco '96 is scheduled to perform as part of the live concert schedule. Learn More

For the second season in a row, Immaculata junior midfielder, Kelly Lapp '16, was selected to the Philadelphia Inquirer Women's Lacrosse Academic All-Area Team for her performance this past season. Congratulations, Kelly! Read More  

 

Women's Basketball Claims CSAC Team Academic Award

The Immaculata University women's basketball team claimed the 2014-15 Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) Team Academic Award for having the highest team GPA for the academic year amongst participating institutions in women's basketball. The Mighty Macs had a collective team grade point average of 3.510. Learn More

 

Men's Tennis Grabs Second Straight CSAC Team Academic Award

For the second consecutive season, Immaculata University men's tennis team earned the CSAC Team Academic Award for having the hightest combined GPA during the spring 2015 semester amongst particpating institutions. Collectively, the team had a GPA of 3.450. Learn More

Much like Mother Theresa Maxis, membership of the Maxis Society provides, on an annual basis, the resources necessary for the University to work toward fulfilling its mission. Read More
