Memorial Day

This past week, our country celebrated Memorial Day. We give thanks to those who courageously gave their lives, and those who bravely fight today. "Greater love has none than this, than to lay down one's life for his friends." - John 15:13 

  

Women's Basketball Hall of Fame

The championship Mighty Macs of Immaculata University will be recognized as "Trailblazers of the Game" by the Women's Basketball Hall of Fame (WBHOF) at their 2015 Induction ceremony on June 13, in Knoxville, Tennesee. Congratulations once again to our Mighty Macs! Read More

Around Campus

Kareemah Parker '15 of Philadelphia was awarded the 2015 Pennsylvania Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics "Outstanding Dietetics Student Award for the Didactic Program" category. Parker was a Dietetics major and president of the Immaculata Student Dietetic Association during her time at Immaculata. Learn more about her achievement here. Congratulations, Kareemah! 

      

Anne Marie DeCarolis '17 of Nottingham, PA, was awarded the "Philly's Future" Scholarship from the Philly Ad Club. DeCarolis, a marketing management and business management dual major, was one of seven students in the Philadelphia area selected for the scholarship in recognition and reward for her oustanding student achievements in the advertising and communication arena. William Carr, Steinway Artist, to Perform in Cape May, NJ 

William Carr, DMA, professor of Music at Immaculata University and Steinway Artist, will perform on June 6 at 7:30 p.m. at the Cape May Convention Center. Dr. Carr is one of seven artists participating in Steinway & Sons Comes to Cape May, a four-day event benefiting the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. All concerts and peformances are free; donations appreciated. Find Out More 

 

Summer Writing Institute

Immaculata University's Summer Writing Institute offers non-credit programs in Creative Writing or College Writing for sophomore, junior and senior students in high school. Spread the word to high school students who want to set themselves apart from their peers!  Space is limited; applications are due by June 15, 2015 to reserve your spot. Learn More

Information Session for High School Students

The College of Undergraduate Studies will host an admissions information session on Saturday, June 13 from 9:00 - 11:00 a.m. in the Green Room of Villa Maria Hall. An admissions representative will give an overview of academics, campus life, athletics, the admissions process, and how to apply for financial aid.
