Reunion 2015: What a weekend!  Thank you to so many of our alumni who made reunion weekend fun and memorable for all.

 

Memories that started here many years ago were reignited. Thank you for the energy and spirit you brought back that lasted the entire weekend! 

 

Fun Facts from Reunion Weekend: 

  • Attended by our two former Presidents: Sister Marian William Hoben, IHM and Sister Marie Roseanne Bonfini, IHM.
  • Message from 80th reunion class member, Mercita Loyola Brett Kane '35 was shared with alumni - view her message online, here.
  • Our alumni traveled from 23 states, District of Columbia, and as far away as Peru to attend.
  • The Golden Anniversary Class of 1965 looked spectacular!
  • The Silver Anniversary Class of 1990 aspire to be like the Class of 1965 by their 50th reunion....in the year 2040!
  • Alumni from the Classes of 1950 through 2014 attended
  • Three generations of the Antonelli family alumni were present to celebrate their own reunions: Helen Ronca Antonelli '50; Dr. Elena Antonelli '75; Sara Lavenduski '10.
  • Members of the Class of 1988 had so much fun at their 25th two years ago, they keep coming back - they even made special t-shirts!
  • Recent grads rocked Mac's Pub - in fact, some of the Golden Macs hit the dance floor too!
  • Our alumni cheered the Phillies to victory last Sunday - whew, glad we were there.
  • Immaculata alumni are like family - see for yourself!
  • We are already thinking about Reunion Weekend 2016 -  we still need to rest up from this one though! Thanks for the memories!

Final exams are underway. Best of luck to all of our students, especially the Class of 2015. We look forward to welcoming you into the Alumni Association at Commencement on May 17!

The Immaculata Symphony will hold a Benefit Concert on Saturday, May 2, at 7:30 PM in Alumnae Hall. Read More 

 

91st Immaculata University Commencement Ceremony

Immaculata University will hold its 91st Commencement ceremony on Sunday, May 17. The Commencement speaker will be Colleen Carroll Campbell who will also receive the honorary degree, Doctor of Humane Letters. Dr. Thomas Catena is the recipient of the Immaculata Medal. The Baccalaureate liturgy will take place on Saturday, May 16, 2015 at 4:30 p.m. in the Villa Maria House of Studies Chapel. Learn More 

 

Go Mighty Macs

The Athletic Department recently held its annual end-of year athletic banquet to honor the 47 senior student-athletes as well as those student athletes who received All-CSAC, all-academic and weekly awards during the 2014-15 year. Congratulations to all of our student-athletes!

Mighty Macs Softball Team Advances to CSAC Championship Round for Third Year In-A-Row 

Congratulations to the Immaculata University softball team, who defeated Marywood 5-4 on April 29. The team will head to Neumann University today, May 1, for the double elimination CSAC Championship weekend tournament. You can track the Macs on the Mighty Macs website, here. Let's Go Macs!

Did You Know...
In the summer of 2014, the Gabriele Library underwent renovations to the first floor. The new layout is conversational and designed for collaboration, allowing students to work together in groups and have easy access to academic resources.
