IU visits Washington D.C. and New York City
Recently, two faculty members took students from their departments to visit Washington D.C. and New York City.
Colonel John Church's Media Ethics and Law class visited the Newseum in Washington, D.C., learning about the freedom of the press and exploring some ethical dilemmas in journalism. Professor Chris Baeza and students from Immaculata's Fashion Merchandising program had the opportunity to go to New York City for a fashion study tour. During the tour, students visited industry leaders in fashion and learned about job opportunities. IU students also participated in an educational shopping trip learning how visual merchandising is used to promote product lines. You can see photos from the two trips on

Immaculata Symphony
The Immaculata Symphony opens its 2014-2015 season with its annual fall concert on Saturday, November 8, at 7:30 PM in Alumnae Hall. Plan to enjoy an evening of beautiful music under the direction of Musical Director Joseph Gehring. Learn More
Veterans Day To honor U.S. veterans on Veterans Day, Immaculata University is holding special activities on Tuesday, November 11. Brigadier General (Retired) Carol A. Eggert will conclude an all-day celebration on November 11, with a keynote address from 6:30 PM-7:30 PM in the Green Room. This event is free and open to the public. Congratulations to our Student Athletes!The Colonial States Athletic Conference has announced that Immaculata University is the 2013-14 recipient of the CSAC Institutional Academic Excellence Award. The award is given annually to the institution whose student-athletes, while competing in CSAC-sponsored sports, achieve the highest combined grade-point average for that academic year.
