Today, August 1, marks the 1st Anniversary of this e-newsletter.  We enjoy keeping you connected with our "Highlights from the Hill,"  and hope you enjoy our coverage. Congratulations to our Mighty Macs' basketball teams of  '72, '73, and '74 who will be enshrined into the Naismith Hall of Fame on August 8 in Springfield, MA. According to their website, this event will be televised live on NBA TV and streamed globally throughout the evening. Enjoy this special moment; thank you for making Immaculata proud! Read more   


While we are still enjoying the summer, our fall calendar is filling up quickly. We hope you will join us for some or all of our events. Be sure to visit the Alumni website often to stay up to date on all that is happening on and off the hill.    

Ever been to a 100th Anniversary Celebration?


Join us for the 100th Anniversary of Villa Maria Hall on September 14 for a day of celebration! All are invited to attend 11 a.m. Mass in Villa Maria Chapel, Nazareth Hall, followed by the unveiling of a unique 100th Anniversary Cake in front of Villa Maria Hall. This event is free and open to the public. If you plan to attend, please RSVP online here. 

39th Annual Immaculata University Golf Invitational & Auction

The 39th Annual Immaculata University Golf Invitational & Auction, presented by M&T Bank, is slated for Tuesday, September 30 at RiverCrest Golf Club & Preserve in Phoenixville, PA. Last year more than $64,000 was raised and we hope to exceed that mark this year with your help! An array of sponsorship opportunities are still available. For more information, contact Melissa A. 2nd Annual Immaculata University Awards Gala

The 2nd Annual Immaculata University Awards Gala will be held on Saturday, October 4, at RiverCrest Golf Club & Preserve. 

 

Congratulations to the 2014 Alumni Medal Recipient,  

Barbara Crea Shannon '70   

and the 2014 Amethyst Award Recipient,  

Peggy Ann Behm '81

Did You Know...

The Mighty Macs' basketball teams of the early 1970s  along with the University of Maryland were the first women's teams to appear on national TV; the first women' team along with Queen's College, to play at Madison Square Garden, and the first women's college team to play outside the Country (Australia in 1974).
