 We hope this newsletter finds you well and enjoying the lazy days of summer. Some of our alumni and friends took advantage of this weekend's beautiful weather and joined us for our fourth annual "Immaculata University Down the Shore" event on Saturday in Sea Isle City, New Jersey. Over the summer our beautiful campus hosts many camps and conferences, and July is soccer season! Throughout the month of July we have welcomed the Eastern Pennsylvania Youth Soccer Association (EPYSA) and U.K. Elite Soccer camps. With the 2014 FIFA World Cup championship finals this past weekend, and the addition of these groups on campus, we certainly have soccer fever!

Graduate Open House
Are you or someone you know interested in Graduate school?
The College of Graduate Studies is hosting an open house on July 16 at 5:30 PM in the Great Hall on the University's campus. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet faculty, staff, and students, and learn about Immaculata's graduate programs. Learn More and Register Here
Undergraduate Admissions Information Session
The College of Undergraduate Studies is hosting an Admissions Information Session on August 9 at 9:00AM. In this session, attendees will be given an overview of academics, campus life, athletics, the admission process, and how to apply for financial aid. Spread the word, and get more information here.

Athletic Training Major Receives Accreditation
Immaculata University announces that its Athletic Training major has been awarded accreditation for the program by the Commission on Accreditation of Athletic Training Education (CAATE). In May of 2014, Immaculata graduated its first class of Athletic Training majors which precedes the accreditation process. You can learn more about this exciting program here. Better yet, you can refer a prospective student looking to pursue this career!
News from The Underground: Non-Traditional Recruitment
The College of LifeLong Learning has announced the addition of two new majors for incoming students this coming fall:
Get Social With CLL: The CLL Admissions office has launched a new blog for the university. The blog, entitled "The NonTraditional," enables IU to communicate more directly with adult learners and give them resources to help them better prepare, continue, and succeed in returning to education. While Immaculata will be the focal point, the blog will also feature success stories, articles from industry professionals, and some entertaining reads that just about anyone can enjoy. Harrisburg Event Featuring Important Safety Tips
On Wednesday, July 30, from 5:00-7:30 PM, Immaculata University is holding a Bar-B-Q&A at the Dixon University Center, located at 2986 North Second Street in Harrisburg, PA. Participants can enjoy a complimentary barbecue dinner and receive important safety tips from local officials that can help protect families. The Dixon University Center is one of two sites that offers Immaculata's Emergency Planning and Management (EPM) program. You can register for this event here.
