It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas at Immaculata! Even though we didn't see Mommy kissing Santa Claus under the tree, there's been plenty happening here on the hill.
The Weather Outside Was Frightful for Immaculata's 93rd Celebration of Carol Night on Friday, December 6. But inside, the rotunda was so delightful! The students came a-wassailing as the musicians made a joyful noise with sounds of the season. Sister Marie Hubert Kealy, IHM '57, said it best in the Carol Night Program:
"Across the years, songs in many languages have enriched our American heritage, but it is usually the old favorites, 'O Holy Night' and 'Silent Night,' that most eloquently proclaim Christmas at Immaculata."
Special thanks to Immaculata's music department and students for making the evening so special.
Rockin' Around the Christmas TreeCongratulations to Jim Malinowski '09 and Erin Rogers '10, who got engaged under the Christmas Tree after Carol Night this year. Best wishes to the happy couple!
It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year for our students - final exams are complete, and many of our students are Home for the Holidays to Deck the Halls with their families.
We are grateful to the many alumni, parents and friends who have supported us this year, including our board members, volunteers, and the many guests who have made our programs so exciting and memorable. Thank you for all you do for Immaculata, and we look forward to seeing you in 2014.
To all of our Immaculata Family,
Have a Holly, Jolly Christmas!
