Alumni Directory Update - Have you called Harris?

Charter Day is November 12th Honor Immaculata's Heritage & Show Your Spirit

On November 12, 1920, Immaculata was granted a college charter, making it the first Catholic college for women in the Philadelphia area. In celebration of "Charter Day", all are invited to show their Immaculata spirit and wear your favorite IC or IU gear. Pull out that "oldie but goodie" Immaculata apparel, and submit a photo for the alumni Facebook page. Your name will be entered into a raffle to win a new IU shirt!

"The Anonymous People" on Sunday, November 3, at 4:00 p.m. in Alumnae Hall. This will be a special showing of the feature documentary film about the 23.5 million Americans living in long-term recovery, and the emerging public recovery movement that will transform how alcohol and other drug problems are dealt with in our communities. Did You Know...
The original name of Immaculata University was Villa Maria Academy. The name was changed to Immaculata College in 1929, and to Immaculata University in 2002.

The disk is blue and white, the colors of the University, with a representation of the Immaculate Heart of Mary pierced with a sword superimposed on a field of light blue...On the blue field beneath the image of the heart is the motto of the University; beneath the motto is a spray of lilies under which is placed the year of the University charter, 1920."
