THE BUILDING MANAGEMENT NEWSLETTER

"Where do I pick up my keys, where is the fleet garage, where does EMCS work?" On December 1st, Zones Management is offering a walking tour of Bonair Siding. We thought this might be of interest to you. We will meet outside the Parking and Transportation office at 8 am and go from there. Wear flat shoes. Space is limited and the first 40 people to sign up will walk. If successful, we will offer again in 2015. RSVP to Raveena Ulrich, raveena@stanford.edu.
November brings the long Thanksgiving weekend and the end of daylight savings time. Think about changes to building schedules, or door schedules to lock based on standard time. If necessary, change the schedule for the two Stanford Thanksgiving holidays. Winter Closure is coming up fast as well. Place work orders early, so they can be completed on time.
As the days become colder, BGM and SEM will continue to monitor the new heating hot water (HHW) systems in your building as part of the SESI project. We will check to make sure that your building stays at proper temp and also review all system components to make sure they are working per design. If your building has been converted from steam to HHW, please communicate any heating issues you or your staff may experience to your Zone Engineer.
Don't forget, Campus Clean Up wraps up on November 13th, for the Fall Quarter and Stanford Open Enrollment ends on November 14th.
