THE BUILDING MANAGEMENT NEWSLETTER
October sees the campus come alive with many programs and events, along with Fall Quarter classes getting into their rhythm. 

Full Moon on the Quad is October 8th.  On Friday, October 10th, Stanford Football hosts Washington State. This game is unusual with a Friday kick off at 6pm.  Campus Clean Up starts on Tuesday, October 14th with the last collection day on Thursday, November 13th.  Drop off locations for each zone are Tuesdays and Thursdays from10am-2pm.

Reunion Homecoming begins on Thursday, October 23 and runs until Sunday, the 26th.   Founders' Day (see article below) is Sunday the 26th, and the annual Mausoleum Party is Friday, October 31st.

Fall Quarter also brings the end of daylight saving time (November 2nd this year).  Remember to put in a work order to reprogram door keypads, if necessary.  Time to think about upcoming holiday schedules too - do you need to reprogram keypads for the dates that your building will be closed?

 

We also depend on Building Managers to be watchful for safety issues, especially when the days grow short.  Look for areas, both inside and out, that are dark and need either a bulb replaced or a new fixture.
