BEST Board
|
By Haley Severson
CSU Public Relations Intern
Many of you have probably wondered what the big giant wall display of students faces was in the CSU Hearth Lounge. Well, it's the BEST Board which stands for Boasting Exceptional Student Talent. The board was created to recognize students nominated for exemplary leadership and personal growth through active involvement or campus employment.
Every semester eight outstanding students receive the opportunity to be on the wall. Students are nominated by faculty and staff who have seen great potential from students.
The Best Board was created due to students expressing the need for greater recognition of student leadership and achievement. The board includes a photo and a brief statement on what inspires the students to pursue leadership opportunities, grow through campus employment, and involvement opportunities while making the most of their college experience.
It is an honor to be nominated for the BEST Board and it is a great way for the school to recognize the students who have worked hard over the years.
