AOHC hosting knowledge management event for maximizing information for quality and decision support

AOHC will be hosting the Maximizing Information for Quality and Decision Support Professional Learning Event on November 19-20 in Toronto. If you use data for your work and are involved in information and knowledge management roles at your centre this annual professional learning event is for you.

The purpose of the two day event is to hear about all the changes underway with data and information for business intelligence. You can network and share practices with Data Management Coordinators; Clinical and Program Managers; Executive Directors, Decision Support and Data Specialists from across the province and inform the future directions in knowledge management.

Questions being addressed include:

  • What are our practices in the use of evidence to support our model of person and community-centred health and wellbeing?
  • How are we moving from data collection to evidence-based decision making?
  • What are methods to use and collect evidence for effective health promotion and community initiatives?
  • What are practices for conducting a privacy audio at your centre?
  • What do we need from organizational reporting and common templates?
  • How can we use Regional User Groups as a forum to engage members more broadly in the use of information and evidence to inform decisions?
