Why high-quality universal child care is part of a more equal Canada for all of us
Canada's weak child care situation contributes to racial and ethnic inequality. Aboriginal people experience Canada's most extreme inequality but the child care programs that could support Aboriginal families in employment, training and education (as well as early childhood education for their children) are limited and fragmented, with multiple federal early childhood education and care programs spread across multiple federal departments.

Become a Peer Learning Mentor
What are Peer Learning Mentors? Community Health Centres are adopting a new Model of Health and Wellbeing. Peer Learning Mentors will form a collaborative that meets virtually approximately 4 times over the coming year to improve and pilot learning materials on the New Model of Health and Wellbeing.

AODA implementation teleconferences
The Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) mandates accessibility standards in a variety of areas including HR practices; communications, marketing, websites, waiting areas, and service counters.
NPLC and CFHT staff are invited to join this open call-in to learn more about these new AODA standards, get answers to nagging questions, discuss opportunities for ongoing support.
