Canadian Index of Wellbeing Project builds up steam
AOHC's partnership with the Canadian Index of Wellbeing (CIW) is building momentum. Since the project was announced at the AOHC conference in June more than 30 centres have expressed an interest in working with the CIW, one of the world's leading initiatives for measuring societal progress. With funding from the Ontario Trillium Foundation, the project will explore how the CIW measurement framework can be applied in Ontario's Community Health Centres and Aboriginal Health Access Centres. Eight demonstration sites have been selected to participate in this initial formal piloting that will lead to a larger second phase of the project. |
