Social Assistance Review Commission Report
Response from Community & Social Services Minister John Milloy is that the government cannot afford to raise the rates by $100/month, as recommended by the report. He says he will form a group of community and business leaders to review the recommendations and report back to the government next year. AOHC and anti poverty groups want to ensure the report does not just sit on the shelf.
