Greetings!
The World can be a scary place. So many horrible things happening makes us all shake our heads in dismay. Depression and a feeling that all is lost can ensue, but so can optimism.
We have a client that suffered a horrific loss of a young daughter to the heinous actions of another and his family has chosen to see the light and bring good into the world by using their Daughter's name to help others, including others that have suffered a similar loss.
They raise money for various charities, they fund a special family camp, and they add children sections to libraries that cannot afford one. They choose to live life, enjoy every day as it comes their way and help the world be a better place.
In light of recent events in Boston, we can only hope the families of those victims are eventually affected in the same positive way and meantime all we can do is share their sorrow.
By the way, should my client wish to promote the charity causes in his Daughter's name in this newsletter, he will always be welcome to do so.
Regardless, my wife and I will be helping their cause again this year, as will Canadian Cigar Company.

Total of 9 Limited Edition Cuban Cigars
In 2000, Habanos S.A. introduced the Limited Edition (Edici�n Limitada) Series for their premium brands. This series comprises cigar vitolas that were not in current production.
Initially, the cigars were manufactured using two year old aged wrappers from the upper level of the plant, to produce a unique darker color.
Since 2007 all of the tobacco (wrapper, binder, & filler) is aged for two years.
Simply put, the very finest of Cuban cigars may be found in the Edicion Limitada lines released each year. Cuba makes far less quantity than they used to, so keep in mind once they are gone, they are gone forever.
Also, the date on the LE is the date of wrapping a cigar made with already two year aged tobacco. So if you're smoking a 2010 Limited Edition, it has aged for almost five years, adding depth to the flavors and reducing the tannins considerably, resulting in a very smooth cigar.

Trinidad Coloniales

 The Trinidad Coloniales is a unique sized cigar. The 44 ring offers loads of smoke, but it still feels like a small cigar in the hand.
Offers very traditional Trinidad flavors of coffee bean, vanilla, and fresh cut wood. Seems a bit milder than the other Trinidad vitolas, regardless of size, so it makes you wonder if the blend is a little different?
Stronger in the 2nd half, but still not past a medium to me. A bit more dark roast coffee and the vanilla was replaced with a sort of toasted pine nut finish.
This is a really nice afternoon cigar that offers a 45 minute smoke experience.
Those that love the Cohiba line will find Trinidad of equal quality and a nice change of pace, yet similar in flavor profile.
I rate this cigar a 90/100

Just an Old Man
An elderly man in Southeast Georgia had owned a large farm for several years with a large pond in the back. It was properly shaped for swimming, so he fixed it up nice with picnic tables, horseshoe courts, and some apple and peach trees.
One evening the old farmer decided to go down to the pond and look it over as he hadn't been there for a while. He grabbed a 5 gallon bucket to bring back some fruit. As he neared the pond, he heard voices shouting and laughing with glee. As he came closer, he saw it was a bunch of young women Skinny-dipping in his pond.
He made the women aware of his presence and they all went to the deep end. One of the women shouted to him, 'we're not coming out until you leave!'
The old man frowned, 'I didn't come down here to watch you ladies swim naked or make you get out of the pond naked.'
Holding up the bucket he said: 'I'm here to feed the alligator.'
Some old men can still think fast.

The funniest staff meeting ever!
The boss of a Madison Avenue advertising agency called a spontaneous staff meeting in the middle of a particularly stressful week. (This is one pretty sharp boss!)
When everyone gathered, the boss, who understood the benefits of having fun, told the
burnt out staff the purpose of the meeting was to have a quick contest.
The theme: Viagra advertising slogans..
The only rule was they had to use past ad slogans, originally written for other products that captured the essence of Viagra. Slight variations were acceptable.
About 7 minutes later, they turned in their suggestions and created a Top 10 List.
With all the laughter and camaraderie, the rest of the week went very well for everyone!
