This is a great anytime cigar.
If you are looking for a medium strength cigar packed with flavor this is one to try. I usually pair this cigar with a 15 year old single malt scotch, but this cigar goes well with almost anything.
This is a well constructed cigar. I recently purchased a box and all of the cigars had medium shade wrappers. Cuba does a good job keeping all the wrappers in a box the same shade.
I consider this cigar a true value. It's what a Cuban cigar should taste like. This cigar has it all, the price is right and it stands up to any other Cuban cigar of similar size.
When you first light this cigar you will experience rich wood flavors with undertones of bittersweet cocoa followed in the last half with a hint of light chocolate with a note of honey.

We had an early dinner the other night. A seared pork chop with a mushroom sauce and of all things, stuffing over it. Really a nice treat and fine meal.
I felt it worthy of what has become my Christmas morning cigar, the Cohiba Siglo VI. A big, bad choice for after dinner, but it was early.
The start was nice, typical Cohiba cream and coffee, with a little vanilla to it.
The second half though, offered something even better. A slightly fresh wood scent with a toffee or burnt almond note at the finish.
I love when a cigar takes on tones similar to single malt scotch, such as caramel, toffee, nuts or dried fruits. This was true of the Siglo VI as the toffee went really well with the last couple of inches of McCallums 18 yo I had left.

Really a nice cigar to the very end and I was so satisfied when it was done. I love when cigars do that, you just smile and say, "wow, now that was a great Cuban cigar". It is bit of a costly selection, but for the special occasion or holiday cigar I highly suggest you have a few on hand in the humidor.

I gave this cigar a 94/100 rating, but maybe the perfect dinner and timing made it better than most, hard to say for sure.
