WE NEED YOUR HELP!

Simpsonwood's Sewer System

Please do not flush any paper towels, tissue, animal waste, cleaning wipes, baby wipes, diapers, dental floss, sanitary products down a toilet on the church campus under any circumstances.

The church is currently experiencing a serious issue regarding its sewer system.  With most homes in the area, waste is flushed by gravity into the public sewer line.  At Simpsonwood all waste is flushed down the toilets and enters into one of two holding tanks on the property.  The holding tanks are significantly lower than the street which requires the waste to be subsequently pumped uphill and approximately 220 feet into the public sewer line.

When the tanks, pumps or sewage lines get clogged, it can cost the church a significant amount of money to repair the system.

Again, we need your help and remember most non-appropriate items can be placed in a wastebasket, which is provided in every restroom on the church campus.  Diapers and sanitary products have designated containers for their disposal.  Animal waste must be placed in a bag and disposed of in the church dumpster or taken off the church campus.

Your cooperation is greatly appreciated!
