MUSIC NOTES

We are coming up on the Moravian Lovefeast rehearsals very quickly.  As a reminder, the first rehearsal is THIS Saturday, November 23, at 10 am.  The second is next Saturday, November 30.  Please be sure to mark your calendars for those important dates.  Of course, the most important date related to that is Thursday, December 5, which is the date of this year's Moravian Lovefeast.  We hope that all of you will be able to attend this community-wide event.

See you Sunday!

ACHILDREN'S NEWS AND YOUTH HIGHLIGHTS
Children
Our KMD kids are halfway through their One Dime at a Time project to help support the Albemarle Chapter of the Red Cross and Bella Sitnic is in the lead collecting points. You may have noticed her or some of the other KMD Kids asking to sit with you during service, or asking you questions about who does various things throughout the church. This has been a fun activity for them, and we thank you for the support you have shown during this time. If you have any spare dimes, we are still collecting them and need all that we can get.

On November 30, our KMD and Youth are invited to a Christmas ornament-making party in the social hall from 3-5pm. It will be a fun time of fellowship filled with crafts, snacks and a lesson. All are invited!

Youth
Our FBC Youth have been working hard at fixing up the youth room, and have been clearing out the clutter. They have been receiving some help from those members of our congregation that are between the ages of 18-25 and will be using the space as well in the future. While the space is still a work in progress they have made huge strides in making it a place they can be proud of.

The pancake breakfasts have been a great success, and we thank you for your support. The next one will be held on December 8th from 8:30-9:30am. We look forward to seeing you then.
