A big thank you to the Chancel Choir for last Sunday's presentation of "Christ Sends the Spirit"!  You did an outstanding job.  We are coming up on the Moravian Lovefeast rehearsals very quickly.  As a reminder, the first rehearsal is Saturday, November 23, at 10 am.  The second is Saturday, November 30.  Please be sure to mark your calendars for those important dates.  Of course, the most important date related to that is Thursday, December 5th, which is the date of this year's Lovefeast.  We hope that all of you will be able to attend this community-wide event. 

 

Last, but not least, a thank you to the children for their presentation of "Lord, I Lift Your Name on High"!  You guys and gals did a great job!

Operation Christmas Child Ingathering This Sunday
Operation Christmas Child shoebox collection has begun
continues this week!  Fill a box (provided by the church) with gifts and love to share with a child somewhere in this big world of ours.

Our ingathering will be this Sunday, November 17.

The Pasquotank Ministers' Council on Education is sponsoring a wintertime coat drive this month.  PMCE  is collecting new and gently used Coats for our local students.  All sizes are needed!  Collection will be Saturday, November 30, from 10:00am - 1:00pm in the Wal Mart Parking Lot (look for the school bus).
