MISSION JAMAICA 2015

Mission Jamaica As the 2015 Mission Jamaica team makes final preparations for our trip, we are in need of used suitcases to take donations to Jamaica with us.  We prefer them to be 24 or 26 inches and they will not be returned as they are used in Jamaica as dressers.  If anyone has a used suitcase they are willing to part with, contact Terri Revell at 763-566-0807. Thanks

The first team leaves for Jamaica on February 28 for West Haven.  The second team leaves March 7 for Vision and/or Faith Chapels.  There are some members that will go March 7 and stay through both weeks returning home March 14. Please,  keep them all in your prayers as they go to reach out and be the hands and feet of God.

The 2015 Mission Jamaica team is:  Jim Allen, Lori Clausen, Jennifer Follestad, Bill Fredrick, Ann Goebel, Erik Hasse, Marian Hutchens, Marv Hutchens, Kollett Kaehlert, Helen Kellerman, Jerry Laumann, Julie Lent, Terri Revell, Gerry Schroeder, Abby Vulcan and Vicki Weber.   We would appreciate your prayers as we work with our mission partners in Jamaica. Thank you!

Again Jesus said, "Peace be with you!  As the Father has sent me, I am sending you."    John 20:21

Mission Volunteer Opportunity

Are you interested in volunteering at Target Field for Twins games or TCF Bank Stadium for Gopher or Viking games to earn money which will be donated to Prince of Peace.  Prince of Peace has the opportunity to team with Northern Force Dance Company to earn money to participate in either Mission Jamaica, Vision Tanzania or POP Youth trips.  Volunteers must be at least 18 years old.

In past years many individuals have been able to pay their entire trip costs for Mission Jamaica.  We volunteer at a concession stand and have the opportunity to work as many home games as you are willing and able.  Training is required and  will be provided.  If you are interested in learning more about this volunteer opportunity, please contact Terri Revell (terri2192@msn.com) at 763-566-0807.
