New Business Awarded
Winzeler Coupling & Ferrule Welcomes New Business Opportunity with Eaton

For several months we've had a team of Winzeler Coupling & Ferrule associates working diligently to make our new Eaton business a success. Represented on this "Launch Team" are members of Winzeler's Customer Service, Engineering, Tool Room, Quality, Manufacturing, and Management groups.  All are there to ensure a successful and seamless product launch.

The package that we're working on consists of 16 part numbers and has required thousands of hours of pre-production work. Thanks to the effort and the attentiveness of the team pictured below, we expect to reach our goal and begin production soon.

Here's a snapshot of the hours required to complete this project:
  • Tool Design - 460 hours
  • Tool Build - 3,240 hours
  • Initial Set Up - 1,440 hours
  • Press Time - 3,200 hours
These 16 parts will be manufactured on 4 different presses at our Coupling & Ferrule plant and we expect to ship nearly 10 million pieces annually.
