2012-2013 YEARBOOKS

THANK YOU TO KEN GRODY FORD

Have you heard the news?  The yearbook which is normally $25 is being sponsored by our friends at Ken Grody Ford.  This means if you're a student here, you receive one for free the last week of school.

The yearbook, thanks to whiz kid and stellar volunteer, Piet Agle, is headed off to the printer in days.

If you would like an extra family copy, please come into the office with $25.  The deadline is TOMORROW, May 10.

Paying it forward....some community members are taking the inspiration of a free yearbook and turning it into a donation for WSOC.  The $25 they would have paid for the yearbook is now an additional tax-deductible Annual Giving gift or a contribution toward the much-needed Handwork/Woodwork Renovation announced at the Gala.  We have received many gifts of this loving nature.  If you have never heard about this amazing campus improvement, you missed a newsletter or two and it's okay.  Contact Denise Ogawa or Gina Illes in the office.

Thank you for the Yearbooks Ken Grody Ford and for the amazing support of our school.

An overwhelming thank you to our friends at....

Student Exchange

In an effort to participate in an international effort to exchange students within the teacher training programs, I will be hosting a student from Kassel, Germany from May 21st- June 15. Is there a family at the school who would be willing to offer her a room? She will have her own car and could pay a modest fee ($500).

Please read her info below. If you have any questions, please contact Robin Theiss

Thank you so much!

Waldorf teacher trainee looking for a room to rent: Documentary filmmaker and student at the Waldorf Teacher Training Center in Kassel, Germany, is looking for a room to rent with a local family from May 21st - June 15th. I will be at the Waldorf School of Orange County doing an intership with Robin Theiss during this time.
