Cody Chamber E-Newsletter  -  April 8, 2016

Convention season is upon us!

Every year, the Chamber of Commerce fulfills thousands of requests for convention/visitor bags.  We know that there will be several large requests (Fire Soccer and Fire School come to mind) that may require a special communication with local businesses.  We offer assistance in this communication in the hope that every visitor to Cody experiences the true Western Hospitality for which we have become famous.

At this time, we would like to invite all local merchants to provide the Chamber of Commerce with a brochure or 'rack card' or coupon that we may use in visitor bags throughout the year.  We would ask that you provide us with an initial supply of at least 1000 copies and we will work with you as we run out during the year.

Current large requests to the community include the Fire Soccer Tournament which has grown to a request for 800 bags and a new request for the visitor bags for Fire School which is for 400 bags.  Please provide inserts for Fire Soccer to the Chamber no later than April 15 and the inserts for Fire School no later than April 20, 2016.

Thank you!

Advertising Opportunity.

Did you know that nationwide, the number one reason people stop at any Visitor Center is to use the restroom? We're taking that to heart here in Cody and we're sprucing up our Visitor Center public restrooms with authentic western décor and beautiful new paint. In the process, we realized that we have a captive audience in that space and our research turned up a trend across the U.S. of restroom advertising.

We are offering Chamber members the opportunity to book valuable space with an annual rate. In both our men's and women's newly decorated restrooms, we'll have 2-3 framed advertisements at 11" x 14" each and you can change the content throughout the year. For just $250 for each spot, you can get your name on our restroom wall in a classy way for an entire year, and reach folks who will naturally have a little time to read what you've got to offer.  Ads will run May 1, 2016 to April 30, 2017.  To reserve your spot now contact Lisa at 307-587-2777, or email cody@codychamber.org!
