Staff Dispatches:

Greetings, Chamber Members!

To be able to live near Yellowstone National Park is a privilege, which is why at the Cody Country Chamber of Commerce, we thought it was imperative to develop an annual event that showcase the wildlife, landscapes, and ecology of the Greater Yellowstone Region. Spring into Yellowstone does just that!

Each year the chamber partners with organizations in the community including the Draper Natural History Museum, Wyoming Game and Fish, Shoshone National Forest, Bureau of Land Management, Friends of a Legacy, Greater Yellowstone Coalition and others to produce this extraordinary event. We use local experts to provide a wide variety of tours and workshops geared toward the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem.

I would like to extend a special invitation to you, Cody Chamber member, to join us May 13-17 in Cody for the 3rd annual Spring into Yellowstone Birding and Wildlife Festival. We are offering over 30 different events, all led by local experts. We are so lucky to call Cody our home. Now is your chance to get out and explore all the wonderful things our area has to offer.

The event kicks off Wednesday, May 13 with an opening reception at the Buffalo Bill Center of the West. Join us for an evening of hors d'oeuvres and cocktails followed by a presentation by wilderness advocate Michael Leach, author of Grizzlies On My Mind for an inspiring presentation about grizzly bears, wolves, bison, wildness and Yellowstone. The reception is from 6-8:30 pm and is $25, we hope to see you at this great event!

Register today, tours are filling fast! www.springintoyellowstone.net

As always thank you to our sponsors and supporters of this wonderful event.

Have a wonderful summer season!
